Louis M Martini Cabernet Sauvignon (2008)  Sonoma

Fruit from all over Sonoma is selected to create the complexity and depth for this great priced wine.  Flavours of red cherry, blackberry and fresh sage meld into layers of chocolate and vanilla flavours.

Emiliana Novas Carmenere/Cabernet Sauvignon (2009)   Colchagua Valley, Chile

This winery is Biodynamic and Organic, and you can taste the difference.  Carmenere is a tough grape to ripen but in the sunny hillsides of the Colchagua, they reach their pinnacle of perfection.  The palate is firm but very silky with elegant, well‐structured tannins, tremendous volume and a persistent finish.

Cantina di Negrar Ripasso (2009)   Italy

In the region of Valpolicella, they make one of the world’s great wine styles called Amarone; a sundried grape that is turned into dry, intensely fruity and balanced wines.  Dark ruby red color; aromas of vanilla, black berry, black liquorice and mint; dry, medium to full palate, balanced structure, with rich berry fruit centre and a long finish.

St Hallett Faith (2009)   Barossa, Australia

Notes of raspberry, cherry, spice and vanilla, and it’s just so easy to drink. This Shiraz is a great accompaniment to the spicy, savoury, sweet flavours of BBQ sauce.
