The Bocuse d’Or Concours Mondial de la Cuisine is fast approaching and I would like to bring to your attention information that you might be interested in. The competition starts at 8:30 am Lyon time and will broadcast till 5:00 pm. I would expect Ryan to star at 9.15 am Lyon time)
Perhaps the most stressful part of participating in the Bocuse d’Or is the travelling. The potential for delays in reaching Lyon and the possibility of product getting lost or damaged does cause a few sleepless nights. So it was a huge relief to land in Lyon on schedule and there was a cheer when the food boxes appeared on the baggage carousel. Everybody and every piece of equipment arrived on schedule.
The equipment has arrived in Lyon. Reassuring news!
Back in Canada we are on the final day (weird to say day, and not days!) of packing and trying to stay busy to avoid getting a case of the “what if’s”.
