2011 Alberta Corporate Invitational Golf Tournament
On Tuesday, July 26th we dusted off our clubs and hit the links at the gorgeous River Spirit Golf Course in Calgary for our annual Corporate Invitational Golf Tournament. As we rolled up to the course at 7:30 AM we were greeted by a torrential downpour, and I’m sure many of us thought this day we’ve had circled on our calendars in anticipation for so many months would be short-lived. Thankfully the weather cooperated with us long enough for each foursome to get 9 holes in, and it was a great feeling to see how much fun everyone was having despite the rain clouds circling overhead.
Not content to just simply play a straightforward golf game on this day, we went to great lengths to make sure this experience was one for the ages! Dunk tanks, horse races, water balloons and closest-to-the-pin contests were just some of the great games we had waiting for each team as they madetheir way to each hole.
And for as much fun as we had on the actual course, I think many would agree we had just as good of time during the reception and dinner. Having the opportunity to meet and say thank you to so many employees, sponsors and vendors who make our jobs a positive experience each and every day was truly rewarding and makes days such as this so special.
