I just read this title on one of our promotional pieces for Ryan Stone, Canada’s Chef for next year’s Bocuse d’Or competition in Lyon, France. “The Journey Begins” is such elegant understatement, considering the magnitude of the task that Ryan has now begun. The last decade of Ryan’s life has been spent in preparation for what shortly begins in earnest – a profoundly impactful journey along a steep road paced by the world’s best chefs, all searching for the Holy Grail of cooking, the Bocuse d’Or.
